Re-Roofing

Your roof is one of the biggest investments you will make in your home. Thanks for choosing the professionals at Lankford Roofing to install your roofing system. Following are some things you can expect during your reroofing project:

SCHEDULING: We will make every effort to schedule your reroofing project at a time that is convenient to all parties involved.  We will inform you of both delivery and start dates.

WEATHER CONDITIONS: We are fully prepared if the weather turns bad during your project. Crews will seal your roof to prevent water from entering your home and we will resume work as soon as the weather allows.

DELIVERY: Materials will be delivered on a tractor trailer by a local shingle supply warehouse before the work begins.

COMMUNICATIONS: Someone is on duty (during office hours?) to take your calls at (phone number).

WIRING, AIR CONDITIONING: Service lines should not be installed underneath roof deck. If you are aware of any such lines, we should be notified immediately. We cannot be responsible for the puncture of improperly installed lines within three inches of the roof deck.

LIGHT FIXTURES, MIRRORS AND PICTURES: These items can fall if not firmly attached to wall or ceiling. Make sure lights, etc. are firmly attached to walls or ceilings. We are not responsible for small cracks and crows feet that appear in older plaster.

TEAR OFF: When it's necessary to remove your existing roof, debris will fall through lath or decking into the attic. There will be a thorough clean up of the exterior of your premises, however, we can only pick up about 98 percent of the nails in the area.

TREES: Our crews may have to cut low hanging branches. You may prefer to have a tree trimming crew out before we begin.

LEFT OVER MATERIAL: Our proposals are based on a complete job. Any leftover material is the property of Lankford Roofing.

PROPERTY INSPECTION: The roofing foreperson and/or salesperson or superintendent will inspect the work and complete a report. Please speak with them at this time with any concerns.

PAYMENT: Payment may be given to the salesperson or superintendent upon completion. Please make checks payable to Lnkford Roofing. The entire payment is due at the completion of the job.
